Signing in and your account
Blog AI uses Google sign-in only: no password to create or forget. How accounts work, and what signing in does and does not give us access to.

Blog AI has one way in: Sign in with Google. There's no Blog AI password to create, reset or leak. This article explains how accounts work and what signing in does, and doesn't, let Blog AI see.
How to sign in
- Open the sign-in page. Go to the sign-in page. If you're new, the page says Create your Blog AI account; if you've been here before, it says Sign in or create your account. Both lead to the same place.
- Click the Google button. It says Continue with Google or Sign in with Google.
- Choose your Google account. Google always asks which account to use, so pick the one you want for Blog AI.
- Land on Home. The first time, you'll see the setup checklist. After that, you go straight to Home.
By continuing, you agree to the terms of service and the privacy policy. Creating an account doesn't need a card.
One account per Google login
Your Blog AI account is tied to the Google login you signed in with. That has a few consequences worth knowing:
- Signing in with a different Google account creates a different Blog AI account. Its sites, posts and credits are separate. If you suddenly see an empty Home page, check the email address in the account menu (your picture or initials in the top right).
- There's no username or password to recover. If you can sign in to Google, you can sign in to Blog AI.
- Changing your Google password doesn't lock you out of Blog AI. It can, however, stop Blog AI reading your Search Console data, because Google revokes some app access when a password changes. See When Google needs reconnecting.
If you work with a team, sign in with the Google account that should own the sites and the billing. Blog AI doesn't have team seats or shared logins yet, so one account holds everything.
What signing in gives Blog AI
Signing in asks Google for your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else. That's enough to create your account and show who's signed in.
Signing in does not give Blog AI access to your Search Console, Google Analytics, Gmail or Drive. Search and analytics data only arrive when you connect them separately on the Sites page, and that step asks for read-only access to those two services. It can be a different Google account from the one you sign in with, which helps if your Search Console lives under a work account. See Connect Search Console and Google Analytics.
Signing out
Open the account menu (your picture or initials in the top right of every page) and click Sign out. Your sites keep syncing and scheduled posts still go out while you're signed out: they run on Blog AI's servers, not in your browser.
Your account details
- Name and picture come from your Google profile.
- Email address is the one on your Google account. Account emails such as billing notices and publishing results go there. You can turn off the optional emails in Settings under Email preferences; see The weekly email and other notifications.
- Plan and credits are on the Billing page, and also summarised in Settings under Plan & usage.
Common problems
"Sign-in was cancelled or didn't complete"
You went back from the Google page, or Google didn't finish. Click the button again. If it keeps happening, check that your browser isn't blocking cookies for this site, or try a private window.
"Too many sign-in attempts"
Blog AI limits repeated sign-in attempts to protect accounts. Wait a minute and try again.
I signed in and my sites are missing
You're almost certainly signed in with a different Google account. Sign out, then sign in again and pick the other account.
I want to change the email on my account
Accounts are tied to a Google login, so the address can't be edited in Blog AI. If you need to move to a different Google account, contact us before you start: we'll tell you what can and can't move over.
Leaving
You can download everything Blog AI holds about you, or delete your account, from Settings. See Export your data or delete your account.
