Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
1. The service
Blog AI researches, writes, checks and publishes blog posts for websites you connect, and measures how they perform using the Google data you connect. It is operated by Blog AI, Ireland ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and use Blog AI for business purposes. If you use it for an organisation or a client, you confirm you are authorised to connect their website and Google properties.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel at any time in Billing; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund partial periods. If a payment fails, your plan keeps working while Stripe retries the card, but no new monthly credits are added until the payment succeeds; if every retry fails, the subscription ends.
4. Credits
Credit prices: a batch of post ideas 1 credit; a researched, fact-checked blog post 3 credits; a generated image 1 credit; a post refresh (rewrite of the parts that need it) 2 credits; a full rewrite of a post in your site's voice 3 credits; merging overlapping posts into one 3 credits. Publishing, scheduling and editing are free. These AI features are also free: Better title & description in Google (when your search data shows it's needed). Credits are only charged when the work succeeds. Unused credits do not expire, including after you cancel. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
5. Free plan
You can use Blog AI on the free plan without a paid plan or a payment card, for as long as you like. It covers one site and includes the content audit, the list of suggested actions, the performance reports, one AI-visibility snapshot of up to 5 questions, and one free blog post once your site's Google Search Console data has synced and you have set your writing voice. The snapshot and the free post are available once per person and once per Search Console property, and the free post only to accounts that have never had a paid plan; its credits can only be used for that post. Other content generation requires credits from a paid plan, a credit pack or referrals (section 14). Posts published while you are on the free plan end with a short credit, “Produced in partnership with Blog AI”, with a nofollow link to Blog AI where your site's platform supports one; on a paid plan you can turn it on or off in Settings. We may change or end free features; if we do, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect.
6. Your content
You own the content you create with Blog AI, and the content and data you bring to it. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you. We claim no rights over it.
7. AI-generated content
Drafts are written by AI models. Blog AI checks cited statistics against their sources and blocks publishing when one is unsupported, but AI output can still be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to existing text. You are responsible for reviewing content before you publish it and for what you publish. Follow any disclosure rules that apply to AI-assisted content in your industry.
8. Acceptable use
Your use of Blog AI is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that breach it.
9. Connected services
When you connect WordPress, Strapi or Google, you authorise us to act on those accounts as needed to provide the features you use (for example, creating and updating posts, or reading Search Console data). Their own terms continue to apply. You can revoke access at any time.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent: it cancels your subscription without a refund for the current period, forfeits unused credits, and deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Posts already published stay on your own website. We may end or suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep Blog AI available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features; we will give at least 30 days' notice by email of price changes or changes to these terms that reduce your rights.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, rankings or traffic. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
14. Referrals
Every account has a personal referral link. When someone opens it and creates a new Blog AI account (during that visit, or within 60 days if they accepted the referral cookie), and later pays their first subscription invoice, they get 10 bonus credits and you get 10. Referral credits are ordinary credits: they never expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. You can earn referral credits for up to 20 friends in any 12 months; beyond that your friends still get theirs. Referring yourself (another account with the same email address, payment card or website) earns nothing. If the qualifying payment is refunded or reversed, the referral credits are removed in the same proportion, even if that takes a balance below zero. We may withhold or remove referral credits obtained through abuse, and may change or end the referral programme; credits already earned are kept.
