About
We built this because we needed it
Blog AI is for people whose blog should be bringing in customers but keeps losing out to everything else they have to do. It finds what to write from your own search data, writes it in your voice with sources it has checked, publishes it, and shows you what it did. Here’s why it exists and how we build it.
Read the blog to see how we think about search, sources and refreshing old posts.
The founder
I’m Philip, and I founded Blog AI. Before building it, I ran an online business that depended on its blog, without a dedicated content team.
Without a content team, a blog either gets neglected or takes far more time than it should. The hard part was never typing. It was knowing what to write, making sure it was right, getting it published properly, and finding out months later whether any of it had worked.
AI writing tools solved the typing and made the rest worse: confident posts with statistics nobody could trace. So Blog AI starts from the data you already have in Google Search Console, checks its own sources, and ends in your analytics. It was built for my own sites first, then for everyone else in the same position.
How we build it
Writing that is tested, not just demoed
Every change to how Blog AI writes or checks posts is run against a fixed set of test briefs before it ships. Separate AI judges grade the drafts for factual support and filler, and a change that makes them worse doesn’t go out. How the check works, and how we test it, is on the fact-checking page.
A gate, not a warning
When a post cites a statistic its source doesn’t support, the post can’t be published until someone resolves it. That rule is enforced in the database, not just in the editor, so no screen or shortcut can skip it.
The models
Built on the latest AI models, including Claude for writing and Jev (TypeSafe) for fact-checking. We choose models for the job, test them the same way, and change them when a better one passes our tests.
Claims we won’t make
No ranking promises, no invented customer quotes or logos, and no feature on this site that isn’t built. When something is on the way, like Shopify, we say “coming soon” and don’t give a date we might miss.
What we believe about blogging
- A blog post should answer something real people search for. Your Search Console shows you what that is.
- A post with a made-up fact is worse than no post.
- Fixing a post that’s slipping is often worth more than writing a new one.
- If you can’t see what a post did, you can’t decide what to do next.
- You should always read what goes out under your name.
Our own blog
Our blog runs on Strapi, one of the two platforms Blog AI publishes to. We’re setting it up as a normal Blog AI customer: our own site, connected through the same screens you use, with posts researched, checked and published through the product. Posts written that way will say so, with a note linking to how the fact-check works, and anything that gets in our way becomes a fix for everyone.
