Find out if AI assistants mention you
For businesses whose customers now ask AI assistants instead of searching. Blog AI asks the questions you want to be found for, every week, and records whether the answer mentions you, links to you, or cites someone else. The free plan includes a one-off snapshot once you've connected Search Console.
Sign in with Google, no card needed. The free plan includes a content audit and one free post once Search Console has synced and you've set your voice. Plans from $49/month.
Why this matters now
More people ask an AI assistant a question they'd once have typed into Google. The assistant searches the web, reads a handful of pages and writes one answer, often naming a few businesses and linking to a few sources.
If you're not among them, you don't get a lower ranking; you simply aren't there. And unlike a search results page, there's no report from the assistant telling you how often you appeared. Blog AI fills that gap by asking for you, the same way every week.
How it works
1. Choose the questions
Add the questions your customers ask, in their words. Blog AI also suggests questions from your Search Console data: your top searches of three or more words that don't include your brand name, and that you're not tracking yet. Track one with a click, and pause or remove questions at any time.
2. Blog AI asks them every week
Each tracked question is put to Claude once a week, with web search on and no hints about your business. New questions are picked up within the hour, and you can run the current week's checks straight away with “Run now”.
3. Every answer is recorded
For each answer, Blog AI records:
- Mentioned: whether the answer names your business or domain.
- Cited: whether one of your pages is among its sources, and where your domain comes in the list of sources.
- Who's cited instead: the other domains the answer relies on.
- Your cited pages: which of your pages are used, linked to the post where there is one.
- The answer itself: an excerpt and every source, with yours highlighted.
What you see

| Part of the page | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Summary | The share of answers that mention you and that cite you in the latest week, with the change in percentage points on the week before. |
| Latest answers | A grid of your questions by assistant: cited (and at what position), mentioned, not mentioned, or check failed. Open any cell to read the answer and its sources. |
| Trend | Mention or citation rate per assistant over the last 12 weeks. |
| Cited instead of you | The domains that appear most often in answers where you don't, over the last few weeks. |
| Your cited pages | Which of your pages assistants use most. |

The free blog audit
The free blog audit checks your blog itself in about 30 seconds, with no account: a score out of 100 and the problems worth fixing first. It doesn't ask AI assistants; the snapshot below does.
The snapshot on the free plan
Once you've connected Search Console, the free plan includes one AI-visibility snapshot: up to 5 neutral questions (they never name your business), built from your top searches or, for a newer site, from your own posts and pages, asked once to Claude. It runs by itself after your first sync. Choose a plan and those questions carry on as weekly tracking.
Turning results into content
The questions where you're missing are a to-do list: write the post that answers the question, or refresh the one that nearly does, then watch the trend. Blog AI's writer researches each post and cites its sources, and the pages cited instead of you show what you're up against. See fact-checking and content refresh.
What it costs
AI visibility doesn't use credits. Weekly tracking is included in every paid plan, up to that plan's number of tracked questions per site:
| Plan | Tracked questions per site | Assistants |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 10 | Claude |
| Pro | 25 | Claude |
| Agency | 50 | Claude |
| Free plan (once) | Up to 5, asked once | Claude |
More AI assistants coming soon.
Each account also has a weekly spending cap for these checks. If it's reached, the rest of that week's checks pause (they aren't marked as failures) and resume the following week. See pricing.
What it doesn't do
- It can't make AI assistants mention you. It measures; the content work is yours (and Blog AI's writer can help).
- Answers vary from one run to the next. A weekly check is a sample, so look at the trend rather than a single week.
- It asks through each assistant's API as a new user, which can differ from what a signed-in person sees in the app.
- It checks Claude today, not every AI assistant. More AI assistants coming soon.
- It doesn't track mentions on social media, forums or review sites.
Questions
Which AI assistants does Blog AI check?
Today: Claude. More AI assistants coming soon. The AI visibility page shows which assistants are active for your plan.
What's the difference between mentioned and cited?
Mentioned means the answer names your business or your domain in its text. Cited means one of your pages is among the sources the answer links to. A citation is stronger: it sends readers to your site and shows the assistant used your content.
Is this exactly what people see in the assistant's app?
Not exactly. Blog AI asks through each assistant's API with web search turned on, as a new user with no history. People signed in to an app may get answers shaped by their own history and location. Treat the results as a consistent weekly sample, not a copy of every user's screen.
Will Blog AI get me mentioned by AI assistants?
No tool can promise that. What Blog AI can do is show you where you stand, which questions you're missing, and who is cited instead, so you can write and refresh the content that answers those questions well.
Does tracking use credits?
No. Weekly tracking is included in paid plans, up to each plan's number of questions per site. The one-off snapshot on the free plan is free.
Which questions should I track?
The questions a potential customer would ask before they'd know your name: "how often should a boiler be serviced", "best accountant for sole traders in Cork". Blog AI suggests some from your Search Console searches, and you can add your own.
