Know someone whose blog has gone quiet? Send them your Blog AI link. When they start a paid plan, they get 10 bonus credits and you get 10: enough for about 3 posts each.
Credits arrive when your friend's first payment goes through, not when they sign up. Your credits never expire, and you can use them with or without a plan.

How it works
Step 1: Copy your link
Every Blog AI account has a personal referral link, with or without a plan. Find it under Refer a friend in the dashboard sidebar, or below Buy credits on the Billing page.
Step 2: Send it to someone who blogs
By email, in a message, wherever you like. Your link opens the Blog AI home page, so your friend sees what Blog AI does before signing up.
Step 3: Your friend signs up
They create a new Blog AI account from your link, during that visit, or within 60 days if they accepted cookies. They can use the free plan like anyone else.
Step 4: Your friend pays for their first month
When their first subscription payment on any plan goes through, they get 10 bonus credits on top of their plan's credits, and you get 10. We email you when yours arrive.
What you each get
Your friend: 10 bonus credits
On top of their plan's monthly credits, added with their first paid month. On Starter, that takes their first month from 40 credits to 50. Before they pay, they can use the free plan, including the free post, like any new account.
You: 10 credits for each friend who pays
Added to your balance at the same moment. A post costs 3 credits, so each reward covers about 3 posts, or a mix of ideas, images and refreshes.
You don't need a plan to earn or spend referral credits. Without one, you can spend them on the one site the free plan allows. Weekly AI-visibility tracking is the one feature that needs a plan rather than credits.
The rules
These match section 14 of our terms of service, which are the formal version.
- New accounts only. Your friend must create a new Blog AI account from your link, during that visit, or within 60 days if they accepted the referral cookie. An existing account, or one that has had a plan before, can't be referred.
- A paid first month. The credits are given when your friend pays their first subscription invoice. A top-up, or a month that costs nothing because of a discount code, doesn't count; their first paid month does.
- Up to 20 friends in any 12 months. You can earn referral credits for up to 20 friends in any 12 months; beyond that your friends still get theirs.
- No self-referrals. Referring yourself (another account with the same email address, payment card or website) earns nothing, for either account.
- Refunds reverse the reward. If the qualifying payment is refunded or reversed, the referral credits are removed in the same proportion, even if that takes a balance below zero. That applies to both of you.
- One referrer per friend. The first link your friend used is the one that counts, and it can't be changed later.
- Fair use. We may withhold or remove referral credits obtained through abuse, and may change or end the referral programme; credits already earned are kept.
Links, cookies and privacy
Your link sets no cookie by itself. When your friend opens it, the browser remembers the referral for that visit only, so if they sign up straight away, it counts without any cookie.
If your friend accepts non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, we also store the referral in a cookie for 60 days, so a sign-up on a later visit still counts. If they reject non-essential cookies, only the same-visit sign-up counts. The cookie policy lists the cookie.
We never show you your friends' email addresses. You see counts, and a first name in your credit history when a reward arrives.
Seeing how it's going
The Refer a friend page in your dashboard shows:
- Friends who joined with your link
- Friends who have paid, and so earned you credits
- Credits you've earned in total
- Rewards left in the current 12 months
Each reward also appears in your credit history on the Billing page, and we send you an email when it lands.
Questions about referrals
Is there a referral programme?
Yes: give 10 credits, get 10. Share your personal link from the dashboard. When a friend signs up with it and pays for their first month on any plan, they get 10 bonus credits on top of their plan's, and you get 10.

If the qualifying payment is refunded or reversed, the referral credits are removed in the same proportion from both of you, even if that takes a balance below zero. The next credits you receive pay that off first.
Do unused credits expire?
No. Unused credits roll over from month to month, and they stay in your account if you cancel. Deleting your account is the one thing that removes them, because it removes everything.
