When you want more posts, plans start at $49 a month. Until then, nothing is charged.
What's free
Everything in this table is free. The AI-visibility snapshot and the free post are one-offs; everything else keeps working for as long as you use Blog AI.

The free plan covers one site. You need a WordPress or Strapi site to add it, and Google Search Console for almost everything above: it's where Blog AI learns what people search for to find you.
Posts published on the free plan end with a small "Produced in partnership with Blog AI" credit, with a nofollow link to Blog AI where your site's platform supports one. Paid plans can turn it on or off.
Getting your free post
You can go from sign-in to a finished draft in one sitting. The only wait is Search Console's first sync.
Step 1: Sign in with Google
Use the Google account you'll use for Blog AI. There's no password to create and no card to enter.
Step 2: Add your site
Give your site a name and address, and connect WordPress (with an application password) or Strapi (with an API token). Blog AI can then import your existing posts to learn from them.
Step 3: Connect Search Console
Grant read-only access and pick the Search Console property for your site. Google Analytics is optional. The first sync runs in the background.
Step 4: Set your voice
Blog AI learns your writing voice from your existing posts, or you describe it in your own words if the blog is new. You can edit the profile afterwards.
Step 5: Write your free post
On your home page, choose 'Write this one free'. Blog AI picks the best new-post opportunity from your actions, or you type your own topic. The post is ready in a few minutes.
Step 6: Review and publish
Read the post, check any fact-check flags, edit what you like, then publish it now or schedule it.
The conditions, in full
We'd rather you read these here than find them later. They exist so the free post and the snapshot go to real sites, once each.
- Search Console must be connected and synced. The free post starts from what people already search for. It works however few searches your site has; it only needs the first sync to have finished.
- Your voice must be set, learned from your posts or described in your own words, so the post sounds like you.
- One per person and one per Search Console property. A second account for the same site doesn't get another, and deleting your account and signing up again doesn't reset it.
- New accounts only. If you've had a paid plan before, you had credits then, so the free post isn't offered.
- The free credits are for that post. The 3 credits are reserved for the post as soon as they're added. If the post fails to generate, they stay in your balance to use on anything.
- The snapshot is once per person and once per property too. Its questions go to Claude. Weekly tracking with more questions comes with a plan.
We may change or end free features in future. If we do, we'll tell you by email first. The terms of service set this out formally.
What needs a plan or credits
- More posts after the free one (3 credits each), post ideas, generated images, refreshes and merges. These use credits (a better title and description in Google doesn't); see credits explained.
- Weekly AI-visibility tracking, with more questions and a 12-week trend.
- More than one site.
Credits don't have to come from a plan. Top-up credits work without one, and so do the credits you earn when a friend you referred starts a plan.
After your free post
Nothing changes on its own. The audit, the Actions list and the reports keep updating every day, and your post stays on your site. When you want to write more, choose a plan from the Billing page.

Why it's free
The audit, the Actions list and the reports run on data you already have, so they cost us little to provide, and they show you exactly what Blog AI would work on for your site. The free post lets you judge the writing on a real topic from your own searches, in your own voice, before you pay anything.
We think that's a fairer test than a sample post about someone else's business. If the post isn't good enough to publish, you've lost nothing.

Can I use Blog AI for free?
Yes. Sign in with Google, add one site and connect Search Console, with no card. Is the free plan time-limited?

What are the conditions for the free post?
Your site needs Google Search Console connected and synced at least once, and you need to have set your writing voice. It's one post (worth 3 credits) per person and per Search Console property, and it's for accounts that have never had a paid plan. The free credits can only be used for that post.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You only add a card when you choose a plan or buy a top-up. Nothing is charged automatically when the free post is used.
What happens after my free post?
Everything free keeps working. To write more posts, choose a plan (from $49 a month) or use credits from a top-up or referrals. Starter covers about 13 posts a month if you spend every credit on posts.
What if my site isn't in Search Console yet?
Add it first: it's free, and Google walks you through verifying that you own the site. A new site may show few searches for a while. Blog AI still finishes its first sync, and the free post works however few searches it finds.
What Google permissions does Blog AI need?
Read-only access to Google Search Console (searches, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position for your pages) and, optionally, read-only access to Google Analytics 4 (sessions and engagement for your posts). Blog AI never changes anything in your Google account, and you can remove its access at any time in your Google account settings.
