How the plans differ
The plans differ in three things: the credits you get each month, the number of sites you can connect, and how many questions AI-visibility tracking asks for each site. Everything else is the same on every plan.
| Starter | Pro | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per month | $49 | $129 | $299 |
| Credits per month | 40 | 120 | 400 |
| Cost per credit | $1.23 | $1.08 | $0.75 |
| Posts a month, if every credit goes on posts | About 13 | About 40 | About 133 |
| Sites included | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| AI-visibility questions tracked weekly, per site | Up to 10, in Claude | Up to 25, in ClaudeMore AI assistants coming soon. | Up to 50, in ClaudeMore AI assistants coming soon. |
A post costs 3 credits, so the "posts a month" row is simply the monthly credits divided by 3. In practice you'll spend some credits on ideas, images and refreshes too; the worked examples on the credits page show a realistic month on each plan.
What every plan includes
No feature is held back for a higher plan. Whether you pay for Starter or Agency, you get the whole loop: find what to write, write it well, publish it, measure it and fix what slips.
- Ideas from your own Search Console data, ranked by the extra clicks they could bring
- Posts researched on the live web, written in your voice, with sources cited inline
- A separate fact-check of every cited claim; unsupported statistics block publishing until you resolve them
- Publishing and scheduling to WordPress and Strapi, with search titles, descriptions, categories, tags and a featured image
- A daily performance chart for every post, from Search Console and Google Analytics
- Refresh proposals for posts that are losing clicks, applied to the live post without changing its URL
- The content audit: one recommended action for every post, exportable as CSV
- Weekly AI-visibility tracking (see the table below for each plan's questions)
- A weekly email digest of what changed
- No "Produced in partnership with Blog AI" credit on your posts, unless you turn it on in Settings
- Email support
Publishing, scheduling, editing, uploading your own images, the audit, the reports and AI-visibility tracking never use credits. Credits only pay for the work that uses AI to research or write.
Start free first
You don't need a plan to see whether Blog AI is useful for your site. Sign in with Google, add one site, connect Search Console, and you get the content audit, your ranked list of suggested actions and the performance report, free for as long as you use them. The free plan keeps the last 3 months of Google data. Every plan loads the 16 months Google keeps and then keeps going: Blog AI saves your monthly totals for up to 5 years, so your search history grows past what Google itself keeps.
You also get one AI-visibility snapshot of up to 5 questions, and one free post once Search Console has synced and you've set your writing voice. The free post is one per person and per Search Console property, for accounts that have never had a plan. The free plan page lists every condition.
Posts published on the free plan end with a small "Produced in partnership with Blog AI" credit, with a nofollow link to Blog AI where your site's platform supports one. Paid plans can turn it on or off.
What credits pay for
Each plan comes with a monthly allowance of credits. These are the only things that use them:
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| A batch of post ideas | 1 credit |
| A researched, fact-checked blog post | 3 credits |
| A generated image | 1 credit |
| A post refresh (rewrite of the parts that need it) | 2 credits |
| A full rewrite of a post in your site's voice | 3 credits |
| Merging overlapping posts into one | 3 credits |
| Better title & description in Google (when your search data shows it's needed) | Free |
| Publishing, scheduling, editing, uploads | Free |
Credits are only charged when the work succeeds: if a post fails to generate, its credits come straight back. Unused credits roll over to the next month and stay in your account if you cancel. The credits page explains when each charge happens, with examples.
Top-ups for busy months
If you run short before your plan renews, buy a top-up from the Billing page. Top-ups work on any plan, and also without one, and they never expire.
| Pack | Price | Enough for |
|---|---|---|
| 10 credits | $15 | About 3 posts |
| 30 credits | $45 | About 10 posts |
| 50 credits | $75 | About 16 posts |
Top-up credits cost $1.50 each, more than any plan's ($1.23 on Starter, down to $0.75 on Agency). They're meant for the occasional busy month. If you top up most months, the next plan up is better value.
Which plan fits
Starter: one website
For a business with one blog. 40 credits a month covers about 13 posts if you spend them all on writing, or a steady two posts a week with room for ideas, images and a couple of refreshes. Most small businesses start here.
Pro: up to 3 websites
For a business with more than one site, or one site that publishes often. 120 credits a month is about 40 posts, and each credit costs less than on Starter. AI-visibility tracking asks more questions per site.
Agency: up to 10 websites
For agencies and freelancers running client blogs. Each client site gets its own Google connection, voice profile, audit and reports, and 400 credits a month are shared across them. Credits are cheapest here. You can export any client's audit as CSV to share with them.
Changing plan and cancelling
- Upgrading takes effect straight away. You pay the difference for the rest of the month, and you get the matching share of the extra credits.
- Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. You keep this month's credits. If you then have more sites than the new plan includes, your oldest sites stay fully usable and the rest become read-only: their posts and reports stay visible, but you can't write or publish on them until you upgrade again.
- Cancelling is done in the billing portal. Your plan runs until the end of the paid period. There's no fee, we don't refund part-used months, and your unused credits stay in your account.
- If a payment fails, your plan keeps working while the card is retried, but no new monthly credits arrive until the payment succeeds. We email you with a link to update your card.
You can see every invoice, change your card and add a VAT number in the billing portal, reached from the Billing page in your dashboard.
What isn't included
So you know before you buy:
- Plans are monthly only. There's no yearly option yet.
- Extra sites aren't sold separately. To connect more sites, move up a plan.
- There are no team seats or roles yet: one account signs in with one Google login. Agencies share client reports by exporting the audit.
- Blog AI isn't a full SEO suite. It doesn't track rankings, build backlinks or audit your site's speed and code.
- Publishing works with WordPress and Strapi. Shopify is coming soon.
Questions about pricing
How much does Blog AI cost?
There are three monthly plans: Starter $49 a month with 40 credits and 1 site; Pro $129 a month with 120 credits and 3 sites; Agency $299 a month with 400 credits and 10 sites. Prices are in US dollars, and VAT may be added at checkout. You can also start on the free plan without a card.
What are credits?
Credits pay for the work that uses AI: a researched, fact-checked post costs 3 credits, and ideas, images, refreshes and merges cost less. Publishing, scheduling, editing, uploads, the audit, reports, AI-visibility tracking and a better title and description in Google (when your data shows a post needs one) don't use credits at all.
Do unused credits expire?
No. Unused credits roll over from month to month, and they stay in your account if you cancel. Deleting your account is the one thing that removes them, because it removes everything.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Anything that needs credits waits until you have enough; nothing else stops working. You can buy a top-up (10 credits for $15, 30 credits for $45, 50 credits for $75) at any time without changing plan, or move up a plan. Top-up credits cost $1.50 each, more than any plan's, so a plan is better value if you run out every month.
Am I charged if something fails?
No. Credits are only charged when the work succeeds. When a post is being written, its credits are reserved; if the job fails, the reservation is released and the credits come straight back to your balance. Your credit history on the Billing page shows every charge and release.
Can I change plans?
Yes, from the Billing page. An upgrade starts straight away: you pay the difference for the rest of the month and get the matching share of the extra credits. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for, and you keep this month's credits.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the Billing page; your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for and then stops. There's no cancellation fee, but we don't refund part-used months. Your unused credits, posts and reports stay in your account.
Can I add more sites to my plan?
Each plan includes a set number of sites (Starter 1, Pro 3, Agency 10). Need more sites? Move up a plan or talk to us. Extra sites aren't sold separately.
Is there a yearly plan?
Not yet. Every plan is billed monthly, and you can cancel at any time.
Are prices shown with VAT?
Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT. VAT may be added at checkout, depending on where you are. You can add your VAT number and download invoices from the billing portal.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe. Blog AI never sees or stores your card number. Every payment has an invoice you can download from the billing portal.
Can I use Blog AI for free?
Yes. Sign in with Google, add one site and connect Search Console, with no card. You get the content audit, your ranked list of suggested actions, the performance report, one AI-visibility snapshot of up to 5 questions, and one free post once Search Console has synced and you've set your voice. After that, plans start at $49 a month.
Is there a referral programme?
Yes: give 10 credits, get 10. Share your personal link from the dashboard. When a friend signs up with it and pays for their first month on any plan, they get 10 bonus credits on top of their plan's, and you get 10.
